Reporter dies in Ghana presidential convoy crash

A member of the press corps of Ghana’s Presidency lost his life
Thursday after the vehicle they were traveling skidded off road,
a release from the presidency said.
The release said the reporter from the state-owned Ghanaian
Times newspaper lost his life in an accident involving the press
corps at Shai Hills about 45 km northeast of the capital.
The release said other members of the press corps were also
injured and had been airlifted to the Military hospital in the
capital.
It said the vehicle skidded off road at the Volta Regional capital,
Ho.
