Saraki Reads New Ministerial List

Senate President Bukola Saraki
Senate President Bukola Saraki on Tuesday read the last batch
of ministerial nominees sent to him by President Muhammadu
Buhari on the floor of the parliament.
The 16-man list as read by Saraki consists of Khadijah Bukar
Abba-Ibrahim (Yobe), Prof. Omoleye Daramola (Ondo State),
Anthony Anwuka, (Imo State), Jeffery Onyema, Brig. Gen.
Mansur M. Dan Ali (Rtd) (Zamfara State) and Barrister James E.
Ocholi (Kogi).
Others on the list are Zainab S. Ahmed, Okechukwu Onelemah,
Muhammadu Bello, Mustapha Baba Sheshuri, Miss Aisha
Abubakar, Heneikin Lokpobri (Bayelsa), Adamu Adamu,
Professor Isaac Adewole (Osun State), Pastor Sanni Useni
Ughuru and Abubakar Bwari Bawa.
The screening of 10 of the 21 nominees on the first list sent to
the Senate on September 30 by Buhari is currently ongoing.

Emir of Keffi dies at 70

Keffi - The Emir of Keffi in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Mohammadu Chindo Yamusa II, has passed away. The Galadima of Keffi, Alhaji Abdul Usman, confirmed this on Friday at a news conference in Keffi Local Government Area of the state. The Galadima, who is also the emir’s cousin, said that the late monarch, who took ill briefly, died in the early hours of Friday in his palace in Keffi. He said, “our emir, the promoter of peace and culture died this morning after a brief illness. “His death is heartbreaking, painful but God gives life and takes it at will. “The emir had contributed a lot to the development of not only Keffi, but to the development of Nasarawa State and the entire country while alive.’’ According to him, the late emir was 70 years old and ascended the throne on May 11, 1978. Meet Bukola Taiwo, oldest African model

Coming back, she noticed the industry has expanded with the proliferation of designers in Nigeria. Still in shape with the right curves, she decided to go back to her first love, which is runway modeling. In the course of interacting with designers and models , she has this penchant to improve modeling in Nigeria by starting a school for budding models.
