Plus-size model chosen as new face of Christian Louboutin Marisa Crous

For the first time ever, the luxury shoe brand known for their
covetable red-soled heels, Christian Louboutin, has appointed a
plus-size beauty. Utterly gorgeous 27 year-old Clementine
Desseaux is the new face of their first lipstick range.
The brand launched a nail lacquer range in 2014, and now
seems to be branching into other cosmetics. What will be next:
maybe a killer mascara? Oh, yes please.
The French "plus-size" model spoke to the Mail Online about her
appointment, saying that it is a massive step for a French
company to use a curvier girl like herself. I mean just think
about it: have you ever seen high-fashion brands like Chanel or
Dior use curvaceous models?
Um, no.
I can hear them already: "Couture needs to hang, darling. It
needs to hang like it would on a hanger."
We are incredibly excited to see what this will do for Desseaux's
career as she has until now been relatively unknown outside of
France.

Emir of Keffi dies at 70

Keffi - The Emir of Keffi in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Mohammadu Chindo Yamusa II, has passed away. The Galadima of Keffi, Alhaji Abdul Usman, confirmed this on Friday at a news conference in Keffi Local Government Area of the state. The Galadima, who is also the emir’s cousin, said that the late monarch, who took ill briefly, died in the early hours of Friday in his palace in Keffi. He said, “our emir, the promoter of peace and culture died this morning after a brief illness. “His death is heartbreaking, painful but God gives life and takes it at will. “The emir had contributed a lot to the development of not only Keffi, but to the development of Nasarawa State and the entire country while alive.’’ According to him, the late emir was 70 years old and ascended the throne on May 11, 1978. Meet Bukola Taiwo, oldest African model

Coming back, she noticed the industry has expanded with the proliferation of designers in Nigeria. Still in shape with the right curves, she decided to go back to her first love, which is runway modeling.
