Appeal Court judgment, perfect birthday gift for Obuah –APC

ALL Progressives Congress (APC), Rivers State chapter,
said it was offering the Appeal Court judgment, which
affirmed the sack of Governor Nyesom Wike, as a birthday
gift to the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP) in Rivers State, Felix Obuah.
A statement issued in Port Harcourt yesterday by the
Publicity Secretary of APC in the state, Mr. Chris Finebone,
said: “APC is happy to recognise that yesterday is the birth­
day of Obuah, We are glad to offer him this Appeal Court
judgment as a perfect birthday gift.”
He said the party received with satisfaction, the judgment
of the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja, which upheld the
judgment of the Rivers State Governorship Election
Petition Tribunal, which sacked Governor Wike.
According to the publicity secretary, the party considers
the decision of the appellate court, to the effect that the
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) did not
comply substantially with the provisions of the Electoral
Act 2010 (as amended), as trite and incontrovertible.
