Ghana's Mahama calls Obasanjo 'stupid buffoon' – reports

Lagos – Ghanaian President John Mahama and former
Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo reportedly exchanged
insults in London recently over Goodluck Jonathan, who lost in
the last presidential elections.
According to The Whistle , the heated exchange denigrated into
"open insults", with Mahama losing his temper and calling
Obasanjo "an idiot" and a "stupid buffoon".
This was after Obasanjo allegedly accused Mahama and his
government of financing Jonathan’s election campaign.
Obasanjo also reportedly lashed out at Mahama for
blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen
in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South
Africa.
A report by abusidiqu.com said Mahama was so infuriated that
he pointed his finger at Obasanjo before ministers present as
well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni calmed the
tempers and ushered him (Mahama) to a nearby room .

Hotel owners forum lament multiple taxation By NAN

Image; mabuku The Hotel Owners Forum Abuja (HOFA), has decried the issue of multiple taxation imposed on its members by government. The President of HOFA, Dr Bola Onigbogi made this known at the annual dinner of the forum in Abuja on Friday. She said that because if the visibility of hotel business, it was easy for government agencies to track them down for the enforcement of numerous taxes. “ A quick count of the amount of taxes we pay shows that we pay over 30 different taxes in Abuja. Can anyone survive this onslaught? Can any business survive under this regulatory environment? Anti-Oshiomhole Protesters Storm ICPC, Demand Probe Of APC Chair Over Alleged Corruption

According to Vanguard, tens of protesters on Wednesday, stormed the headquarters of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) in Abuja demanding an investigation into allegations of bribery levelled against the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole during the recently concluded nationwide primary elections of the party.
